Fur & Fuel Co. ("we," "us," "our") operates the online store at furandfuelco.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and disclose your personal information when you visit the Site, make a purchase, or otherwise communicate with us. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order, create an account, subscribe to our emails or contact us, we collect information such as your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (if you choose to provide it at checkout), order details, and the content of your messages. If you send us photos of your dog in our gear, we collect those too.

Payment information. Payments are processed through Shopify's secure checkout (Shopify Payments and any other payment methods shown at checkout). We never see or store your full card number. Card details are handled directly by these providers under the PCI-DSS security standard.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect information about your device and how you use the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, approximate location, pages viewed, referring site, and how you interact with the Site. We collect this using cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies" below).

Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from our service providers: Shopify (our e-commerce platform, including its payment, email and analytics tools), Printify (our print and fulfillment partner), and shipping carriers.

How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

Process and fulfill your orders, including printing, shipping, sending order and tracking updates, and handling returns, replacements and refunds.
Communicate with you and respond to your questions.
Send marketing emails if you've signed up (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email).
Detect and prevent fraud, and keep the Site secure.
Understand how the Site is used so we can improve it.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as needed to run our store:

Shopify, which hosts our store and processes payments. See Shopify's Privacy Policy.
Printify and its print providers, which receive your name, shipping address, order contents and, where needed, your email or phone so they can produce and ship your order. See Printify's Privacy Policy.
Shipping carriers, which receive what they need to deliver your package.
Payment processing through Shopify's checkout, for payments, fraud prevention and refunds.
Email marketing, through Shopify Email, if you subscribe to our emails.
Analytics, through Shopify's built-in analytics tools, which help us understand how visitors use the Site.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to make the Site work (for example, keeping items in your cart), remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the Site. You can control cookies through our cookie banner (where shown) and your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may stop parts of the Site, such as the cart, from working. Your choices and US state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California (CCPA/CPRA) and other states with consumer privacy laws such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and New Jersey, you may have the right to:

Know and access the personal information we have about you.
Correct inaccurate information.
Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for taxes).
Get a copy of your information in a portable format.
Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising, and of profiling. If we ever use advertising cookies, you will be able to opt out using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" / "Your privacy choices" link in our footer or cookie banner. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals where required.
Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email furfuel.co@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We'll verify your request using the email associated with your order and respond within the time required by law (typically 45 days). You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, and if we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response.

Categories of information collected in the past 12 months include identifiers (name, email, address, IP address), commercial information (orders), internet activity (browsing on our Site), approximate geolocation, and, if you send them, photos. We don't collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.

Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email.

Data retention

We keep order information for as long as needed to fulfill your order, provide customer service, and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. We delete or anonymize other information when it is no longer needed.

Security

We rely on Shopify's and our service providers' security measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Data location

We are based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
