We make apparel for dog people. Real ones: the people who have dog hair on every sweater they own, who say "who's a good boy" in a voice they'd never use in public, and who would absolutely, 100% wear a matching holiday sweater with their dog.
How the boss took over
Fur & Fuel Co. runs on two things: fur (everywhere, on everything, forever) and fuel (cocoa, coffee, treats, and the sheer chaos energy of a dog who just heard the treat bag). Put them together and you get a brand made for anyone whose holiday plans revolve around what the dog is wearing.
Every brand needs a leader. Ours didn't apply for the job. They simply showed up, sat in the middle of the design table and refused to move. Meet the boss: a tiny, smug, extremely bossy chihuahua. They're small. They're in charge. They didn't ask for your opinion. You'll find them in every single design: supervising Santa, bossing around the reindeer, riding on the back of a dachshund, and generally running the show. Anyone who has lived with a chihuahua knows who's really in charge of the house.
Long dogs, big love
You'll also notice a lot of dachshunds around here. Long dogs, short legs, enormous personalities. They're one of the most-loved breeds out there, and honestly, a wiener dog wrapped in Christmas lights is just the best thing to put on a sweater. Golden retrievers and Frenchies have joined the party too, and more breeds are on the way. (The boss has approved them. Reluctantly.)
